*Non-enrolled students who wish to try an online nursing course may take two courses prior to enrollment. Students must be enrolled by the end of the second nursing course.

Students accepted into the program must make a non-refundable $2,000 deposit to confirm their space; the deposit is applied directly toward their first quarterly tuition payment.
- All tuition and fees listed here were approved on June 3, 2011, by the Board of Trustees of Thomas Edison State College and are effective July 1, 2011. Tuition and fees are subject to change at the discretion of the College. Tuition and fees for courses and examinations for the nursing and general education requirements taken at other institutions will be the student's responsibility.
- Nursing students who, in each 12-month period, earn a minimum of 3 credits at Thomas Edison State College or elsewhere that apply to their program requirements, will be considered continuously enrolled. Students who, in each 12-month period, do not earn a minimum of 3 credits at Thomas Edison State College or elsewhere will be placed on Inactive Status. At the time students reactivate their status and return to the College they will submit a Re-enrollment from Inactive Status form along with the appropriate fees and will be provided an updated review of credentials.
- Active duty military personnel who enroll in the W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing will pay the nursing tuition and fees.
- Neither the Comprehensive Tuition Plan nor the Enrolled Options Plan applies to students in the W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing.
