The National Institute on the Assessment of Adult Learning, which will be held in Atlantic City, NJ June 6-8, 2012, invites proposals for short or full presentations, panel discussions or roundtable discussions that review case studies, research, best practices and lessons learned in the assessment of adult and experiential learning. Tracks include prior learning assessment, credit-by-examination, online learning and testing, blended learning programs, learning outcomes, workforce development, and international perspectives on assessing adult learning. Other topics relevant to assessing adult and experiential learning are also of interest.

Presentations should be designed to stimulate discussion, and will be collected and posted in the National Institute’s online proceedings.

Deadline for Submission for the 2012 National Institute: January 10, 2012

All presenters are required to register for the Institute and pay the registration fee.

To submit a proposal, send:

  • Abstract title
  • 250-Word Abstract
  • For each presenter please provide:
    • Name of presenter
    • Institutional affiliation
    • Email address
    • Phone number
